Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
—Mark Twain
There comes a time when we start asking questions that don’t have easy answers.
Why am I here and what am I supposed to be doing with my life?
It may start as a nagging feeling or it may be a deep down yearning for a different type of experience than the one you’re having right now.
Some people are searching for their purpose and others are just trying to get through another day. Wherever you’re at right now, the meaning of your life is yours to determine.
So how can you tell what your life purpose is?
Ask yourself, what makes me happy? What comes easily? What brings me joy?
If you’re struggling to find it, stop.
The meaning of your life is not in the struggle to be someone you’re not; it’s in surrendering to who you really are.
